Come help us teach children how to connect with the natural world
Children are naturally curious and our goal is to encourage them to explore the natural world around them. We work with teachers to bring children outside during the school day for hikes or nature education programs and also run after-school programs for students both at elementary schools as well as at other outdoor spaces. With the help of our volunteers, we break the classes up into small groups, allowing the students more in-depth contact with the natural world as well as their grown-up mentor.
No experience is needed to volunteer, just an interest in sharing your appreciation of nature! We provide training before each session, during which we will teach you what you need to know. Becoming a volunteer for Everyone Outside, whether a few times a month or a few times a year, is a fun way to share your love of the natural world with the next generation and to learn something new!

At Everyone Outside, we have many dedicated volunteers who play a vital role in conserving open space and forests, protecting trails, and furthering environmental education. Everyone Outside would not be able to accomplish so much without the generosity of these individuals.
