About the Event
Join Women of the Woods (WoW) on for a 3+ mile hike at the Braemore Preserve in northern Guilford. More details on the hike will be added in mid-March. The hike will likely include the wildflower trail that is in the Rockland Preserve on the edge of the Braemore Preserve.
Please wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a pack with water and a snack. Hiking poles may be desirable if you like them for a few steep spots
Women of the Woods (WoW) is a program of Everyone Outside and is open to all those who identify as female or gender nonbinary. In addition to walking, we will take the time to admire the beauty around us, learn a bit about the flora or fauna, do some exercises to connect with the natural world (mostly sitting quietly) and enjoy each other's company.
